The Prospect Academy Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is a welcoming group of parents and families who have a child or children at Prospect Academy. We strongly believe in the mission of Prospect Academy and are dedicated to building and supporting this special and unique community.
Join the Prospect Academy PTO
Thank you for your interest in the Prospect Academy PTO! We’re glad you found our page. As a new PTO, we are continuing to grow and we welcome you to join us. We appreciate the ideas and value you can add to our group to support our school community.
As this innovative new school opened its doors for the first time for the 2022/2023 school year, our PTO formed alongside it to support the administration, teachers, and students. To date, we have provided meals to the teachers for professional development trainings, crafted gifts for teachers before the winter break, and began hosting monthly fundraisers with community partners like Barnes & Noble, BJ’s Brewhouse, Bad Daddy’s Burgers, and Panera. We planned two fun and successful events for the students, a Halloween Trunk-or-Treat and a Valentine’s Dance-a-thon.
This is just the beginning and we’re excited to continue these community building efforts! We invite you to participate in a variety of ways:
- Like our Facebook page to stay up to date with the latest Prospect PTO news.
- Become a member! We welcome all Prospect parents to become a member of the PTO. Our dues are $10 per school year, and the fees are waived if your student receives free lunch.
- Attend a meeting! We meet virtually every other Tuesday at 7:00 pm. Just email us at firstname.lastname@example.org for the link.
- Volunteer for an event! If you would like to bake cookies, mix up lemonade, or help decorate for one of our fun events or teacher appreciation efforts, please let us know at email@example.com.
- Make a contribution! We greatly appreciate donations in any amount to support our efforts. You can make a donation here.

Members will have the ability to run for elected positions and vote during elections. Or, you can make a general donation without membership.
Donations to date have been used to establish our nonprofit 501(c)(3) status, to show our appreciation to staff with small holiday gifts, to provide food to staff during in-service days, and to host fun community-building events. Additionally, we are partnering with the school to support their efforts in funding:
Field trips, fun Friday supplies, reinforcers/rewards for students
Anti-bullying curriculum & social skills curriculum
Sending teachers to advanced Precision teaching training at Morningside in Seattle (this summer)
Flexible seating / tables
Art supplies/supplies for new electives (like food and kitchen supplies (pots, pans, etc.) once we get our kitchen in Feb!
Library books/classroom libraries
More staff training in different systems and structures
Small staff appreciation gifts throughout the year
